Lost in Amish Country

We crossed into Indiana today while embarking on a 90 mile ride. Things were going well- typical 4:15 AM wake up and a solid 30 mile ride before our second breakfast (pb&j, of course!). The ride was nice- a few rolling hills and an excellent riding buddy to discuss the merits of architecture, social activism and urban agriculture.

But then things got weird. I was with two other riders and we ended up getting lost, landing ourselves in Rome City, about 20 miles off course from where we needed to be. We then biked for hours through Amish Country, literally riding past endless corn fields and horse and buggy. Quite the adventure.

We managed to get ourselves to South Bend, and all is good! We had our mail delivery, and I got an awesome package from some buddies. Hooray!
